The Continental TSIO-520-NB is a 310-horsepower turbocharged engine and the current factory production version of the TSIO-520-N. It’s best known for powering the Cessna 340 and Cessna 414, with additional support for select Mooney Rocket Engineering STC upgrades.

Continental TSIO-520-NB Engine – For Cessna 340, Cessna 414 & Mooney Rocket STC

The Continental TSIO-520-NB is a 310-horsepower turbocharged engine and the current factory production version of the TSIO-520-N. It’s best known for powering the Cessna 340 and Cessna 414, with additional support for select Mooney Rocket Engineering STC upgrades.

This engine combines high-altitude performance with exceptional reliability, and is supported by Continental’s full factory warranty. Whether you are replacing a high-time twin or converting a Mooney to turbo power, the TSIO-520-NB delivers the muscle and altitude capability you need.

Every Air Power-supplied engine includes a Tempest Spin-On Oil Filter (when applicable) and a complete set of Tempest Spark Plugs.

This is one of the most complex engines Continental offers. Please consult your Air Power rep to ensure we configure your engine correctly. You’ll need to confirm the following:

  • New or rebuilt?
  • Impulse coupling or retard breaker magnetos?
  • 12V or 24V electrical system?
  • Intercooler: What is your current intercooler part number?
  • With or without air scoop?
  • Left or right engine position?
  • Oil-heated fuel manifold valve installed?
  • Hydraulic pump accessory drive required?
  • Turbocharger included or not?
